It is one of the greatest fears of anyone living, the worry of anyone alive. It has made many people anxious and threatened the existence of some people. It has drastically affected the choices and decisions of many people and changed their circumstances or situation—it is the fear of the unknown.
It would be great to know beforehand that there would be an economic crisis. It could help shape your decisions today. If you knew that the price of a stock would quadruple in a few days, it might help you act differently. If you knew that the treasures you have today would lose value very soon, that information would help you act differently. If only you knew that your actions would go a long way to define your future, you might have thought again about what you did. If only you knew.
It is not always the case for some people as they only know when the deed has already happened. If there is already an economic crisis, people may wonder why. The problem is that the consequences are already staring them in the face, with little or no option to change the occurrence or plan for alternatives. Some may experience famine, not knowing why and also not prepared for the sudden change. Things happen, but many never get the slightest idea until it has occurred—they find out suddenly and begin to grasp the impact of the change. I wonder what difference it could make if only they knew ahead of time.
Events like this will bring change that may affect you, but you may not know why. It perhaps brought an unprecedented change that you have to handle. Your actions today may trigger a process that may become an event tomorrow, but if you do not know the potential of such, you may wake up to a future that you did not expect. It could be unsettling, especially when it is unpleasant.
It seems that some people get to know some things before they happen. It is like they already know what will happen. It appears that they act in line with their expectation—usually, they get what they expect. I have found it to be true.
The problem may not be the disaster, crisis, abundance, or success— coming as a change. It could be that some people are not aware, or perhaps they could not relate their actions to the future that is ahead. I wonder if you knew something about yesterday today, or something about the tomorrow you expect, today.
I will share some real-life stories of real people that have lived with several happenings that occurred in their lifetime. Interestingly, some of them knew what others did not. They knew what would happen before it occurred. It made a significant difference in their lives. It was more of a future they expected than one that came by surprise.
I hope the insights will help you change your actions, decisions and attitude towards the future. You may understand why some people expect some degree of certainty in the future and yet never fail to achieve it.
To be continued next week.
