Many times we get assistance that gives us temporary relief and a sense of progress. It becomes a different experience after a while when we discover that it did not help after all. Have you been there? Have you found yourself receiving assistance but later found that it did more harm than good? You may have figured out that your assessment was not accurate. You probably thought they were for you, but it turns out that they were against you or your goal.

The search for help could be a challenging one. Answers may not always come as fast or easy as expected, but sometimes, some surprises seems to beat our expectations and cause us to react spontaneously. We go all out for it and ignore every other important detail. Have you received help and wondered why? Have you gotten a gift and felt; what is the motive behind this? Have you considered why some people want to help you, and not someone else? You will find some interesting answers as you ask questions and study those involved.

There are so many reasons why people help, but it may be hard to understand the motive behind their actions sometimes. It could be a good opportunity, but it could also be a trap. Help can come from well-meaning people and those with intentions that you are not aware of or one that is not known. It could sometimes be to your disadvantage or your hurt. They could present themselves as calm and unharmful like a sheep, but they could be dangerous wolves. It is vital to focus not only on your need, but also the source of help. Do not grab every offer blindly, find out more, understand the reasons behind it, and make informed decisions. It could be a trap that could rob you in the future.

Some people have had unpleasant experiences because of desperation. They accept anything that comes without careful consideration and have found themselves in bondage. A sweet beginning of help left a bitter or sour taste afterwards. There are so many things in life that are not as they seem.

A time of need is a time of frustration, anxiety or fear, and many take advantage of this position to exploit. Many people offer services to exploit the vulnerability of others. There are so many companies that offer to dispose of a car, some equipment, or a house, for instance. They give you false hope just for you to buy their services, and as soon as they get you, their attitude changes and you discover they are not really who you think they were. They aim to make their gain, not for you to get the help you need. Many have been frustrated because they sought for help. They desired it, but ended in a worse situation.

A young man once sought help after a motor accident that rendered his car a write-off. He promptly got an offer for a brand new replacement car which he gladly accepted. He signed all the documents and began to enjoy his new automobile. The service was quick, and the delivery of the car was like the speed of light. The impression he had was that the bill was nothing for him to worry about, but he was wrong. A few weeks afterwards, the car was taken from him and had to pay for the bill. The insurance company did not pay because he did not qualify for it, so he is liable for all the expenses. He was perplexed when he saw the bill that runs to thousands of pounds. The story could have been different if he considered the offer well and checked the details.

Some nations have found themselves in a worse position because of the support they received. They were excited to get the funds. It was not in the best interest of the nation. The assistance has taken more from them than it has added to them. It led them backwards and not forward.

For some others, it could be a job offer or a juicy appointment in exchange for immoral acts. If it does not look right, it is a red flag. If you are not eligible for such, it may be a trap. Whenever you notice that there is a selfish gain, they are not interested in helping you. They are only doing all to achieve their selfish aim.

Some lecturers use their students to satisfy their lustful desires. They present themselves as supportive, willing to assist struggling students, but their main aim is what they want to gain. They have left many with emotional trauma and frustrations. It is quite frustrating and demoralising to be robbed by those that should protect and help.

Some leaders take advantage of the vulnerability of their followers. They rob instead of supporting them. Many with similar attitude have mastered the act so much that many are not aware of the wrongs. The victims continue to suffer the pain and agony for a long time. It is crucial to exercise caution, even when in need so that you not end up in bondage disguised as help.

There are so many things to watch out for is in such people among which is deceit. If you can sense it, it a sign that there is a danger ahead; it will be in your good interest to avoid such. Consistency is another one. If they are not consistent or their words do not match the actions, it may be one to avoid. It is better to wait longer than to get help in a hurry and end up in trouble.

Many have become victims of fraudsters in a bid to seek a better life in a different country. It has been an unpleasant experience for some and a death trap for many others. Many have lost the little they had because some seemingly good people deceived them by promising what they could never deliver.

You may have needs and many seemingly good options, but some of them may be traps in disguise. Be calm and check well before you make your decisions, so that you do not destroy your future because of the help you received today. Your needs may have put you in a challenging situation, but it is crucial to be cautious, so that you do not make it worse. Do not be in a hurry. Please take your time to consider it properly as you may be dealing with a wolf in the clothing of a sheep.
